Dr. Ryan Watkins
- Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology
- Fellow in Anesthesiology from American Dental Society of Anesthesiology
- Active member of the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists
I am a licensed dentist who is trained and credentialed in anesthesiology. I have dedicated my private practice to in-office general anesthesia and IV sedation for general dentistry. After finishing dental school at Loma Linda School of Dentistry, I realized the benefit of combining the tools of anesthesiology and dentistry for those patients who needed more complicated procedures as well as those suffering from anxiety.
My anesthesiology training experience was completed at the following locations: the Anesthesiology Department and Internal Medicine Department at Riverside County Regional Medical Center, the Anesthesiology Department at Loma Linda University Medical Center, and the Surgery Center for Dentistry at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. I have successfully treated thousands of patients over the years. I have experience in administering anesthesia for endodontics (root canals), periodontics (gum surgery), implants, oral surgery, and pediatric procedures. I have three children of my own, and my love and desire has always been for treating children.

After graduating dental school, Dr. Boen focused on cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics and dental implants. She flew all over the country to take courses on these subjects from preeminent dentists. Dr. Boen could often be seen during her lunchtime reading dental journals on the latest dental technology, materials and techniques. Even now, she commonly spends Sunday mornings taking a dental webinar.
Dr. Boen is married and has two children, a boy and a girl. She also has two German Shepherds. Dr. Boen loves to garden around her house and Costco shopping. She enjoys going out to eat, but also likes to make dinner at home on the weekends. Her idea of relaxing is sitting next to her husband and watching a Korean drama.
